About ARDEA
ARDEA began in 2014 as a small studio designing interiors for friends. The furniture came later — when we could not find the pieces our rooms needed.
Today we are a team of designers, makers and stylists working between Copenhagen and London. We design complete interiors and a single, considered collection of furniture — each piece drawn to sit quietly in a room and to be lived with for decades.

Made slowly
Every frame is built by hand in small European workshops, to order, so nothing is made that isn't wanted.

Natural materials
Solid oak and walnut, wool, linen, travertine and brass — materials that age well and can be repaired.

Designed for living
We design for real homes: for children and dogs, for long dinners and lazy Sundays.
